Between tears and laughter, Kona’s Fight chronicles the life of baby Kona, a tiny kitten with a big heart and a brave spirit. Follow him as he battles, as long and as hard as he can, the deadly FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) virus.

Told from Kona’s point of view, the story gives a touching and inspirational insight into life with FIP and its effects on those who love and care for him. The bond between Kona and his family, especially his Mom, holds them together until the end, and beyond.

KONA'S FIGHT Tiny Kitten Big Heart eBook Deborah Jesson

I'm a cat lover and was drawn to the cover & title at first (LOL). I read a sample--HAD to have the complete story. Kona is a beautiful kitty who has his story told by his mom. It's a touching story, bittersweet & educational. Saying anymore about it would be a spoiler as it flows from start to end. I'd never heard of FIP, a "cat-killing" disease that seems to be at epidemic proportions now. The author writes so beautifully ~ the pictures are gorgeous. I smiled, laughed & cried. Wishing there was also a hard copy to own...it's a lovely tribute that's spreading important information, places to go for help. PS: As an animal lover, kudos to the author for donating all proceeds to "cruelty free research" on FIP.

Heartbreaking story. If you have ever lost a cat to FIP this book is a must to read.
Just purchased this Book & can't wait to start the "read". I have followed this Story as it was
unfolding and I am so glad it is now in Print, so others can learn about this terrible decease
and love little Kona's story. Hopefully a cure will result ...
A wonderful book by a new, talented author. The true story is told from the perspective of Deborah's precious kitty as he experienced Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), an evil and unforgiving disease. The love Kona had for his family and they in return is so clearly illustrated. You will laugh and cry-I did!
Such a sweet story. A must read for cat lovers. FIP is such a horrible virus. Most of us who have kitties who are diagnosed with this virus had never heard of it. This story raises awareness of FIP and makes all of us who have lost kitties to it realize that we are not alone. RIP poor little Kona. I hope that you are now healthy and strong, playing and running with all of the other FIP babies at the Rainbow Bridge.
Such a touching true story. I very much hope that this book results in many donations to FIP research so that a cure is quickly forthcoming. Too many precious souls like Kona have already succumbed to FIP. Many thanks to Ms. Jesson for sharing Kona's story and my condolences for your loss.
I followed Kona's story on Facebook from the time he got sick, until the time he let go. It was so precious to hear him tell his story from his point of view. How hard he fought, and how much he loved his family. I think he did send Mini to help his family recover. I think it is true what his mother said about him being sent to their family so they could care for him up to the end. He will live on, in everybody's hearts and memories.
This was a most precious story. A kitten's fight against FIP told from his point of view. Kona's story really hit close to home as we had a baby kitten, Hickory, that had FIP back in 2008. Sadly, Hickory only made it to 8 months before succumbing to this dreaded disease. If you love cats and want a quick little read that will tug at your heartstrings, this is the book for you. In addition, hopefully this will bring greater awareness to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
